I'm Giannelly Rodriguez, or also known as "GzCookiez" on all of my gaming outlets. I currently work in a software SaaS AI startup with Operations and Customer Support experience, however my specialties lie within data analytics, customer success and process management.

In my free time, I organize competitive tournaments and events for Apex Legends and other games. I also love to play Apex Legends myself and have built a community called the "Honey Bunnies" where I've learned to manage competitive teams and inspire players to work their way up to a professional career in esports. Working my way into multiple roles within various esports organizations such as LeaveNoWitness and the Oklahoma City Chargers, I was able to grow a community of 1100+ competitors and manage an all-women's competitive roster to placing 11th out of 100 teams in a $100k women's tournament in 2023.

I currently run and host a seasonal women's tournament called the "Cookiez Cup" along with an educational program on esports management and production dubbed as the University of Esports". My mission is to showcase marginalized talent and encourage more girl gamers to pursue an esports career.

Aside from my professional and esports career, I love to bake cookies and plant whenever I get the chance! I plan to start a gardening vlog very soon and would love to learn some new baking recipes.

 

Fun fact: My name had originated from my baking business back in high school where I baked cookies for classmates and made a decent income, to the point where I had to hire someone to help me sell them!
